FL Engineering is known for its ability to understand and adapt to customer requirements, providing assistance where most necessary and ongoing support at every stage of the production process. Sometimes companies can find that their high work volumes leave them with insufficient space or personnel to meet specific requests, such as the assembly of small or medium-sized units. To meet this need, we have set up a dedicated assembly and testing department for work units, to simplify the process and optimise the production chain for our customers.
We can assemble individual custom-made units or repeat units.
We also provide a pre-assembly service to inspect components and identify any irregularities, such as missing holes or parts that can’t be assembled due to design issues. By doing so we can produce non-compliance reports to enable customers to correct any issues before the final assembly phase. This pre-assembly process helps to optimise timescales and prevent production stoppages, such that customers can avoid stopping operations to await the repair of non-compliant parts.
